Cathy Keane Reaffirms Commitment to Mayoral Campaign
ORO-MEDONTE — Cathy Keane has reaffirmed her commitment to running for Mayor of Oro-Medonte following a brief decision to step away from the campaign.
"Over the past 24 hours, I have had the opportunity to reflect and to hear from residents across Oro-Medonte. Their encouragement, concern and support have reinforced why I entered this race in the first place," said Keane.
"I am committed to moving forward — listening to residents, working collaboratively, bringing people together and putting the best interests of Oro-Medonte first."
Keane says her campaign will now return its focus to the issues facing the Township and to engaging with residents throughout Oro-Medonte.
"Coming together is our beginning. Working together is our success."
